Social activity in Québec City

As part of the events marking the 400th anniversary of the founding of Québec City, we have planned an evening in the old town. As the program of events is not complete yet, we cannot confirm details of the evening.

Police officers of the Québec City PD will escort the visitors. They will guide them to the various activities and will be available to suggest restaurants to those who so wish.

Pamphlets on Québec City will be handed out to participants when boarding the tour bus.

For the moment, the cost of the activity is only the cost of the bus trip to Québec City and back. Please note that any other fees will be at the participants’ expense, at the time of the event.

Please also note that the cost of the social activity may be paid separately from the other costs of the conference.

Registration for the social activity is done on the same registration form as that for the conference.

For those not taking part in the social activity in Québec City

Those not taking part in the social activity in Québec City may either:

have their evening meal at the École cafeteria (between 4:45 and 6:00 p.m. - cost is not included in the conference registration fees);
have their evening meal in a restaurant in Nicolet (information will be available at the time of the conference);
spend the evening in Trois-Rivières (transportation from and to the École will be made available if required).
