The conference, whose theme is "The Search for the Truth", will take place from June 16 to 18, 2008, at the École nationale de police du Québec. The conference will be preceded by a day of specialized workshops on June 15, 2008. Registration for the workshops is optional, and the costs are not included in the registration fee for the conference.

This conference is mainly addressed to:
• investigators and civilian and police personnel from Québec, Canadian, and international police forces;
• investigators from Quebec, Canadian, and international governmental organizations having the status of peace officer;
• academics and researchers from fields closely related to investigations;
• and Crown Attorneys.

All other registrants will be directed to the steering committee, which will evaluate the validity of the registrations. The steering committee reserves the right to refuse participants who do not satisfy the criteria listed above.
